Abstract:Based on super hydrophobic and self cleaning lotus leaf surface with the dual structures of micro mastoid and nano flagellar,the micro/nano structures similar to lotus leaf surface was designed.The corresponding contact angle models with Wenzel and Cassie model were established and the influences of the micro nano dual structures and its structure parameters on surface wettability were analyzed.The results show that for single microstructure,the rough surface with a slender structure (that is with the larger ratio of columns height and column side length) has a better hydrophobic effect.For micro nano dual structure,the threshold ratio of column height and column length to implement super hydrophobic is reduced due to the second nano structures.Therefore,the micro nano dual structures can greatly improve the hydrophobic properties of rough surface.
