Abstract:Montmorillonite and Cu(MMT/Cu)composite nanoparticles were prepared and added into the 150N base oil,the tribological performance was investigated on MMU 10G friction and wear testing machine with 45 steel as friction pair,and the wear surface morphology of friction pair was observed and the elements on wear surface were analyzed by using EPMA 1600 electron probe,metallographic microscope and Genesis energy spectrometer.The results show that MMT/Cu as lubricant additive has excellent friction reducing effect and anti wear property in the 150N base oil,the average friction coefficient is decreased by 52%,the wear mass loss of friction pair is reduced by 55% due to the generation of a layer of auto compensation film on the specimen surface.
