Abstract:The PTFE composites filled with same content of different organic fillers were prepared by molding sintering stereotyping method,and their tribological behaviors and mechanical properties were studied.The results show the hardness and compressive strength of the composites are increased,but the tensile strength is reduced when filling the organic fillers.The tribological properties of PTFE composites are effectively improved by the organic fillers,among them,the PTFE composite with 15%(mass fraction) polybenzoate has the lowest friction coefficient,the PTFE composite with 15% polyimide has the lowest wear volume.By comparison,the PTFE composite with 15% aramid fiber has the best tribological behavior,its wear resistance is increased nearly 400 times compared with pure PTFE,and its friction coefficient is only 84% of pure PTFEs.The reason is that the aramid fiber filler can change the friction mechanism of the composites,can form uniform and continuous transfer film in the friction surface to reduce the wear.
