Abstract:The attapulgite lubricating greases were synthesized using the organ attapulgite modified by the aminoacid amide as the thickener,and the effect of the aminoacid amides prepared by different fatty acid and polyethylene polyamine on the performances of the attapulgite lubricating greases was investigated.The effect of different amount of aminoacid amides on the performances of the attapulgite lubricating greases was also investigated.The results show that the attapulgite lubricating greases synthesized using the organ attapulgite modified by the aminoacid amide are non corrosive.The aminoacid amides prepared by different fatty acid and polyethylene polyamine and different amount of aminoacid amides have some influence on the physical and chemical properties of the lubricating greases,such as dropping point,shear stability and colloid stability,as well as the tribological properties of the lubricating greases.
