Friction and wear behavior of organic vermiculites modified PBO liner material was evaluated in a pin on disc friction and wear tester.The structure of the organic vermiculites was characterized by infrared spectrometer and X ray diffractometer (XRD),and the worn surface and transfer film of PBO liner material were examined with scanning electron microscope (SEM).The results indicate that the organification can enhance the bonding strength between the vermiculites with resin.The organic vermiculites is easy to desquamate to form lamellar structure,which can effectively improve the antiwear property of PBO liner materials.
