Abstract:The Fortran procedure was programmed for calculating the Reynolds equation considering the cavitation effect using Elrod cavitation calculation method,and a visualization analysis program on the performance of cylinder radial bearing was made using the hybrid programming by VB and Fortran.The procedure uses relative path method to call the dynamic link library,it is more convenient for rapid application of visualization analysis software.With the cylinder radial bearing as an example,the three dimensional distribution of pressure and temperature,and the main performance parameters of bearing were analyzed by the program,and the analysis result was compared with the result in the literature.Results show that the program can get the performance of cylinder radial bearing conveniently and precisely,and also can help the user to know the work situation of cylinder radial bearing.
