Abstract:According to the processing characteristics of aluminium alloy, 7 kinds of synthetic esters were screened and applied in aluminum alloy cutting fluids, the lubricating properties was evaluated through tapping torque and friction wear tests, and the other performances of the cutting fluids were examined by their corresponding experiments. The results demonstrate that synthetic esters show an excellent lubricating property in formula system, and the lubricating property of polymeric ester is superior to that of polyol ester and fatty acid ester. The synthetic esters make no difference on the emulsification and anti-corrosion performance of the cutting fluid system, thus can meet the requirement of aluminum alloy processing.
