蒙脱土/聚酰亚胺复合材料摩擦磨损性能研究

    摘要:

    通过原位聚合法制备蒙脱土/聚酰亚胺纳米复合材料,考察蒙脱土含量对复合材料摩擦性能、力学性能以及热稳定性的影响, 并用扫描电子显微镜观察分析复合材料磨损表面,分析磨损机制。结果表明:蒙脱土的加入能够改善复合材料的热稳定性;随着蒙脱土含量的增加,复合材料的拉伸强度呈现下降的趋势,但弹性模量有显著的增加;添加适量的蒙脱土,可以有效地改善聚酰亚胺复合材料的摩擦学性能;随着蒙脱土含量的增加,聚酰亚胺复合材料的磨损机制由黏着磨损转变为磨粒磨损。

    Abstract:

    Nano-composites of montmorillonite/polyimide (PI) were prepared by insitu polymerization. The mechanical properties, tribological performances and thermal stability of PI composites with different montmorillonite content were investigated. The wear surfaces of PI composites were observed by the scan electron microscope to analyze the wear mechanism. The results show that the addition of montmorillonite can improve the thermal stability of the composite material. With the increasing of montmorillonite content, the tensile strength of the composites is shown a downward trend, but the elastic modulus is increased significantly. The tribological performances of the PI composites are significantly improved when adding suitable montmorillonite. Along with increasing of the montmorillonite content, the wear mechanism of PI composites is translated from adhesive wear to abrasive wear.
