Abstract:The compressionresilience and sealing performances of metallic Wring,equivalent plastic strain distribution of alloy and silver layer,and the sealing mechanism were analyzed by using finite elements software ANSYS.Based on the orthogonal design method,the influences of structure parameters such as the thickness,wave height,crest radius,trough radius on the spring back and sealing performance were discussed.Results show that the metallic Wring has excellent resilience performance and selfsealing ability.Plastic deformation occurs at wave trough of the alloy substrate firstly when compression ratio is up to 10%.Plastic flow of the silver plating layer in loading process is necessary to the sealing performance.Thickness and wave height are the main factors influencing the comprehensive performance of the Wring,and too big trough radius must be avoided in the design of Wring,for it is difficult to guarantee the performance of Wring.
