Abstract:Based on the analysis of fractal surface morphology and artificial texture effect on elastohydrodynamic lubrication,the surface texture lubrication model correlating with fractal features was established.The relation between pressure flow factor and surface fractal dimension and its texture parameters was researched by numerical calculation.The results show that the average flow model is applicable to isotropic fractal surface without texture under certain fractal dimension.Under the same fractal dimension,pressure flow factor is increased with the increasing of texture parameters of cavity depth and decreased with the increasing of cavity radius.Under the same texture parameters,the pressure flow factor is increased firstly and then tends to be stable with the increasing of fractal dimension.
