To estimate dynamic characteristics of multibody system with lubricated revolute joints,a squeeze lubrication force model was used to replace kinetic revolute joint for describing revolute clearance joint.Comparative analysis was carried out to reveal the effects of major parameters such as dynamic fluid viscosity,clearance size on system dynamics when revolute joint with dry contact or lubrication.Numerical simulation results indicate dynamic performances for the hydrodynamic lubrication model match quite well with those for ideal joints,and the minimum fluid film thickness is ensured within safe range.When increasing clearance size or reducing dynamic fluid viscosity,reaction force becomes oscillatory and system stiffness tends to be serious.The journal and the bearing walls are closer for low viscosity,which suggests the possibility of dry contact and wear.
