Abstract:During the operation of a refrigeration compressor, the refrigerant will dissolve part or all into the refrigerant oil under certain pressure and temperature. The antiwear performance of the refrigerator oil mixed with refrigerant extremely dependents on the miscibility characteristics between refrigerant and refrigerator oil.A method of determining antiwear performance of refrigerator oils mixed with refrigerant was presented, and the optimum parameters for evaluating the antiwear properties of refrigerant oil mixed with refrigerants were determined through the ringblock friction test. The test results show that the proposed evaluation method has a good distinction for different types of refrigerant oils, and different synthetic oils and mineral oils, and can be used for the screening of refrigerant oil products and the development of new products.
