Abstract:An evaluation method of lubricating grease colloidal dispersion system properties was provided based on rheological behaviors,which could be systematically evaluated static entanglement,dynamic structural strength and recovery of grease colloidal dispersion system.In this evaluation method,the experiments of field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and rotational rheometer viscoelastic properties were combined to explore the variations of both structure and entanglement of lubricating grease fiber,the controlledstress test under rotational rheometer continuous shear condition was carried out to study the structural strength of grease colloidal dispersion system,and the controlledstress test under rotational rheometer oscillating shear condition was carried out to investigate the structural recovery.It is found that the evaluation method is able to express the variation of grease colloidal dispersion system well by means of the properties evaluation on two grease samples after being heated at different temperature.
