In order to solve the failure problem of Wsealing ring caused by local spalling in the test process of a aeroengine,the fracture analysis on the Wsealing ring was carried out,and the assembly stress and working stress of Wsealing ring were analyzed.The results show that the main reason for the spalling of the sealing ring is that the initial compression of the sealing ring is too big and the pressure difference in the working environment is too high.The effect of structure parameters of Wsealing ring was researched,and the improvement measures were put forward such as controlling the precompression appropriately and increasing wall thickness of sealing ring.The effectiveness of the improvement measures for the Wseal ring was verified by the engine test.
