Abstract:In order to further study the sealing characteristics of Cshaped double side sealing ring in reciprocating motion,based on mechanics and finite element theory and taking the Cshaped double side sealing ring at the piston as the research object,the structure model of the Cshaped double side sealing device was established by using the 3D software,and the simulation analysis was carried out by using ANSYS to study the stress and deformation of Cshaped double side sealing ring variated with the interference under the noload condition and with the medium pressure under the load condition.The results show that the the stress and deformation Cshaped double side sealing ring are increased with the increasing of the interference under the noload condition,the maximum deformation occurs near the contact point with the cylinder wall.The stress and deformation of Cshaped double side sealing ring are increased with the increasing of medium pressure,and the stress is concentrated on the upper and lower parts of the sealing ring,the maximum deformation area appears in the lower part of the oil inlet of the sealing ring.
