Abstract:Based on the similarity principle, the reducedscale friction pair of the train was designed. The threedimensional transient temperature field and stress field distribution of the fullscale disc and the reducedscale disc under speed of 100 km/h and pressure of 11 MPa was simulated by ADINA,and the equivalence of the two models was discussed. The results show that the simulated results of the temperature field and the stress field of the fullscale disc are in agreement with the reducedscale disc. The peak temperature of the shrinkage disc is 2039 ℃,and it is 224 ℃ lower than that of the fullscale disc;the peak stress of the reducedscale disc is 308 MPa,and it is 48 MPa lower than that of the fullsize disc.Under the same condition, the experimental results of reducedscale disc agree well with the simulation results of fullscale disc, the difference of braking time between them is 1 s,and the peak temperature difference is 269 ℃,which verifies the rationality of the reducedscale model.
