Abstract:Aimed at the problem of the lip damage caused by excessive temperature of the reciprocating skeleton oil seal,ABAQUS software was used to simulate the temperature distribution at the lip of the reciprocating skeleton oil seal. The influence of interference, fluid pressure, reciprocating velocity and friction coefficient on the temperature at the lip of the reciprocating skeleton oil seal were studied. The reasonable range of interference, fluid pressure, reciprocating velocity and friction coefficient were obtained according to the applicable temperature range of the selected rubber material and the comparative analysis results. The results show that, with the increase of interference, fluid pressure, reciprocating speed and friction coefficient, the temperature at the lip of the reciprocating skeleton oil seal is increased, which will affect the sealability of the reciprocating skeleton oil seal. The combination of reciprocating velocity and running time makes the temperature at the lip rise abruptly near a certain speed.Compared with the instroke, the interference, fluid pressure, reciprocating velocity and friction coefficient have a greater effect on the temperature of the lip in the outstroke, which make the temperature of the lip have a greater increase and a higher temperature. This indicates that the oil seal damage caused by the high temperature is more likely to occur during the outstroke.
