Abstract:According to the reliability theory of the friction pair system, the wear failure probability of the hydraulic reciprocating seal was studied, and a method for judging the wear failure status of the seal was proposed.Taking the hydraulic cylinder rod seal Y-shaped seal as the research object, the friction stress and failure probability of the seal under different degrees of wear were analyzed through ANSYS simulation. The wear failure probability of the seal during operation was calculated, and the validity of the finite element calculation method was verified by experiments. The results show that the friction stress at the lip of Y-shaped hydraulic reciprocating seal is large,so the wear part mainly occurs at the lip. With the increase of wear degree, the friction stress of Y-shaped seal is increased, and the failure probability is also increased. The research shows that this method can be used to detect the wear of reciprocating seals in the actual operation of hydraulic cylinder.
