Abstract:In order to explore the law of oxidation stability of aviation hydraulic oil,a simulated oxidation test based on metal catalytic oxidation was designed to study the catalytic oxidation of Cu and Fe metal. The variation of the appearance, viscosity and acid value of the 15th aviation hydraulic oil under different oxidation time was investigated, and the composition of the oil sample was analyzed by means of GC/MS.The results show that the color and viscosity of the oil samples added with Cu and Fe change more severe and the acid value is higher after longtime oxidation, indicating that the oxidation stability of the hydraulic oil is deteriorated under the catalytic oxidation of metal.GC/MS analysis results show that under the action of metal, the antioxidant consumption of the aviation hydraulic oil is more severe after longtime oxidation, and small molecular alkane and a small amount of alcohol, ketone, acid, ester and other compounds are formed, resulting in the change of physical and chemical properties and the deterioration of oxidation stability of the oil samples.
