Aimed at the structural failure and low reliability of packer rubber at present,the reliability model of packer rubber under normal distribution was established based on the safety factor method and the randomness of design variables.The influencing factors of the stress and strength of packer rubber were analyzed,the relative parameters of the reliability model were obtained by using the AHP method of adjacent target optimal membership.The reliability safety factor under the static strength reliability requirement of packer rubber was calculated,and the reference value of reliability safety factor of packer rubber in different levels was given.The finite element analysis model of packer rubber was established,the value range of the reliability safety factor of the finite element model was calculated according to the shear stress evaluation criterion,and the rationality of the theoretical calculation result was verified
