Abstract:In order to improve the high temperature mechanics and friction performance of fluorine rubber(FKM),three kinds of FKM composites were prepared by mechanical blending and by adding the same mass fraction of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE),gas phase silica and nano ZnO.The effects of three fillers on the mechanical properties of FKM composites at normal temperature and 160 ℃ high temperature were studied,the friction and wear mechanism of FKM composites was analyzed by combining threedimensional morphology and scanning electron microscopy.The results show that PTFE fillers can improve the high temperature friction properties of FKM materials,but decrease the mechanical properties.Nano ZnO fillers can improve the mechanical properties of FKM materials at room temperature,but can not significantly improve the high temperature mechanical and friction properties.Silica fillers can significantly improve the properties of FKM,such as antiwear,friction reduction and antitearing,etc.Under the test condition of 160 ℃,silica fillers can increase the tensile strength of FKM materials by 31% and the tear strength by 142%,and reduce the friction coefficient by 52% and wear volume by 36.4%.The matrix strength can be improved by adding silicon into FKM,and a molten layer can be formed during high temperature friction,which makes the composites have excellent wear resistance
