    以航天涡轮泵用机械密封的镶嵌静环组件为研究对象,采用有限元法对比研究了静环座开或不开空刀槽2种情况下,石墨静环在静态条件下的接触压力、端面轴向变形和等效应力的分布特征。结果表明:未开空刀槽镶装静环组件的石墨环密封端面轴向变形分布沿径向呈发散楔形状,且相对变形量差值较大,而开空刀槽后静环组件的接触压力、等效应力和端面轴向变形均得到改善。分析了空刀槽的尺寸大小、形状以及开槽位置对石墨静环受力特征的影响,确定了静态条件下合理的开槽几何特征值。结果表明:空刀槽开在静环座径向侧壁根部较合适,且当空刀槽槽宽占比约为1/2时,静环端面轴向变形达到最小,有利于减小密封泄漏率;相比于其他几种空刀槽结构形状和特征尺寸,石墨静环拥有燕尾形空刀槽且当燕尾角为45°时,其端面轴向变形量沿径向变化最小,静环的装配应力均值最小。

    Abstract:

    Taking the static ring assembly of the mechanical seal for aerospace turbopump as the research object,the contact pressure,the axial deformation of the end face and the distribution characteristics of the equivalent stress of the graphite static rings under static conditions were studied and compared by using the finite element method for the static ring seat with or without the clearance groove.It is found that the axial deformation distribution of the graphite ring seal end face of the static ring assembly without groove is in the shape of a divergent wedge along the radial direction and the relative deformation is relatively large,while the contact pressure,equivalent stress and axial deformation of the end face of the static ring assembly with groove are improved.The influence of the size,shape and groove position of the clearance groove on the force characteristics of the graphite static ring was analyzed,and the reasonable slot geometric characteristic value under static conditions was determined.The results show that it is more appropriate to open the clearance groove at the root of the radial side wall of the stationary ring seat,and when the groove width of the clearance groove accounts for about 1/2,the axial deformation of the stationary ring end face is minimized,which is beneficial to reduce the sealing leakage rate.Compared with other kinds of clearance groove structure shapes and characteristic dimensions,when the graphite static ring has a dovetail clearance groove,and the dovetail angle is 45°,the axial deformation of the end face has the least change along the radial direction,and the average assembly stress of the static ring is the smallest.
