The finite element model of heat conduction of the brake disk was built by ANSYS software,and the influences of convection coefficient and braking types on the surface temperature of brake disk were studied.The results show that the convective heat transfer mode has little effect on the maximum contact temperature,but it has obvious effect on the maximum contact temperature at the cooling process after the end of braking process.Different type of brake results in different temperature distribution on the brake disk.Under the condition of same braking contact time,the braking type with spacing interval is conducive to the reduction of the surface temperature especially when the contact time is short.
