A simplified model of the sealing pair of globe valve of flat non metallic disc was established by finite element analysis software to analyze the contact stress distribution and the deformation of sealing pair under various operating conditions.The difference of contact stress distribution and displacement of the globe valves with different disc structure was contrasted under the same conditions,and their performance was compared and validated by test.The results show that the stress distribution on the sealing contact surface of globe valve of flat non metallic disc is symmetric about the middle of the sealing surface,the maximum stress lies in the outer and inner diameter of the contact surface and the stress is decreased in the direction from both ends to the middle of the sealing surface.The seal gasket with radial constrained disc has better sealing performance than the seal gasket with radial unconstrained disc.
