The SmBa2Cu3O7-δ (SmBaCuO)powders were synthesized by solid state reaction method,and the Ag/ SmBaCuO ceramic composites were prepared by sintering SmBaCuO with Ag at different mass fractions.The structure and morphology of Ag/SmBaCuO composites were investigated by X-ray diffraction,Metallographic microscope,scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive X-ray analysis,respectively.The tribological properties of Ag/SmBaCuO composites were measured on the friction and wear tester.The results indicate that the silver particles distribute in the SmBaCuO matrix,improving density and toughness of Ag/SmBaCuO ceramics,the structure of SmBaCuO has not be changed.A silver film is formed on the surface of Ag/SmBaCuO composites during friction process,which reduces the friction coefficient and wear rate of Ag/SmBaCuO composites.
