Abstract:The elastohydrodynamic lubrication(EHL)analysis of the waterlubricated Tenmat bearings was carried out by considering the effect of the thermal field and the bearing surface continuous cosine wave roughness.A full numerical solution for the Tenmat bearings was obtained by numerical analysis.The effects of the amplitude and wavelength of the roughness function on the pressure and film thickness were analyzed.The results show that,in considering the bearing surface continuous wave roughness,pressure and film thickness oscillating is shown,and the minimum film thickness is decreased.The oscillation of film thickness is intensified with the increasing of amplitude of roughness function,but the change of pressure is not obvious,and the minimum film thickness is reduced.The oscillation of pressure is increased with the increasing of wavelength of roughness function,and the change of film thickness is not obvious.
