Abstract:In order to study erosive wear extent of solidliquid twophase flow with high volume fraction on transportation pipeline,computational fluid dynamics(CFD)and twophase flow theory were used to establish the erosion wear and fluid flow field model.The dense discrete phase model(DDPM)in Euler model and the fluid dynamics module in Ansys were used to analyze the particle fluid flow feature and erosion wear on pipeline.The results indicate that the erosion is mainly occurred on horizon pipe near the outlet under low inlet velocity.Along with increasing of inlet velocity,the erosive area is gradually moved near to the elbow pipe,and the maximum erosion of pipeline is tended to reduce.Both erosive velocity and particle volume fraction are related to erosion rate,and the erosion rate will reach the maximum value when certain relationship is met between them.
