The internal fluid flow of labyrinthlike seal is different from that of labyrinth seal due to its special structure.The effects of seal gap on the properties of labyrinthlike seal were analyzed by using FLUENT software,and the internal flow field of labyrinth-like seal was compared with that of traditional labyrinth seal.The results show that,in the same size conditions,turbulent fluid flow in the labyrinth seal is more obvious than that in labyrinth seal in slot direction,therefore,the slot flow cannot be ignored in the study of labyrinth-like seal.The gap width has a great effect on the leakage characteristics of labyrinth-like sea,along with the increasing of gap width,the fluid speed is decreased,the throttling effect is weakened and leakage is increased.
