Abstract:Regular microgrooves were processed on specimen surface by laser, the molybdenum disulfide film was prepared by spraying, and the effect of the surface texture on the tribological properties of molybdenum disulfide film was investigated by a ringonblock tribometer. The results show that, under certain operating conditions, the geometric parameters of the microgroove have an optimum value for the life of the solid lubricant film. By analysis, surface texture can save the solid lubricant and under certain operating conditions, the solid lubricant will be extruded from the texture to the contact surface, so the life of the solid lubricant film is prolonged.
