波度端面机械密封热流体动力润滑性能分析

    摘要:

    基于流体润滑理论,考虑润滑液膜空化现象和润滑液膜与密封环之间的热传导作用,建立波度端面机械密封三维流固热耦合模型,采用SUPG有限单元法求解广义雷诺方程、能量方程和热传导方程,计算端面液膜压力、开启力、泄漏率、摩擦因数等参数,对比分析密封热流体动力润滑(THD)和流体动力润滑(HD)密封特性。结果表明:随着转速、密封压力、波幅、波数的增加,开启力和泄漏率增加,摩擦因数减小;随着坝宽比、初始膜厚的增加,开启力和泄漏率减少,摩擦因数增加。热效应对密封性能影响显著,随着端面摩擦热升高,润滑液膜压力降低。

    Abstract:

    Based on the fluid lubrication theory,taking cavitation phenomenon and the heat transfer between fluid film and seal rings into consideration,a threedimensional flowheat coupling model of a wavetiltdam(WTD) mechanical seal was developed.A SUPG finite element method was applied to solve the generalized Reynolds equation,the energy equation and the heat transfer equations,and the pressure of the fluid film,open force,leakage rate and friction coefficient were obtained.The sealing performance between thermohydrodynamic lubrication and hydrodynamic lubrication was compared.The results show that the opening force and leakage rate are increased,while the friction coefficient is decreased with the increasing of rotation speed,pressure,wave amplitude and wave number.The opening force and leakage rate are decreased,while the friction coefficient is increased with the increasing of dam width rate and film thickness.The influence of thermal effect on the sealing performance is significant,with the increasing of friction heat,the film pressure is decreased.
