Abstract:By selecting the sintered tungsten carbide(SWC) as the reinforced material,the sintered tungsten carbide reinforced laser cladding alloy was prepared by laser cladding method.The behavior of SWC bonded with nickel base alloys was studied,the wear resistant of sintered tungsten carbide reinforced laser cladding coating under abrasive wear was investigated,and the abrasive wear mechanism was explored.The results show that with SWC particles added,the wear resistant of nickel base alloys is greatly improved,and a layer of substance which has excellent antiwear and anticorrosive properties is formed on the SWC particles surface.The reasons is that when SWC bonded with nickel base alloys by laser heating,the matrix elements(such as Ni,Cr etc.) are diffused into WCCo system,and a new kind of binder phase is formed in cemented carbides,which shows an excellent antiwear and anticorrosive properties.
