Abstract:A new type of integrated radial sliding bearing machined by using the wireelectrode cutting method was put forward,which has the characteristics of tilting pad bearings because its bearing pad can have small elastic deformation and swing around the fixed pivot under different load.According to the lubrication theory,the mathematical model of the new bearing was established.A new mixed program was developed to calculate the characteristics of the bearing.Fortran software and Ansys software were used to calculate separately the oilfilm characteristics and deformation of sleeve and bearing support.Considering the deformation of sleeve and bearing support,the effects of eccentricity and bearing physical dimension on the static performance of the bearing were investigated.The results show that the load and the maximum pressure of bearing bush are increased with the increasing of speed and eccentricity,and decreased with the increasing of support height.The deformation of sleeve and bearing support is increased with the increasing of rotating speed and bearing eccentricity,so its effect on bearing performance can not be ignored.
