Abstract:Sn-Ag-Cu/ceramic high temperature inner gradient lubricating coating material was prepared by using porous metal ceramic as base and Sn-Ag-Cu low melting alloy as solid lubricant and with the vacuum/pressure infiltration technology. The high temperature friction and wear properties of the lubricating coating material paired with 2Cr13 steel plate and Al2O3 ceramic disc were studied on the high temperature friction tester. The friction and wear mechanism of the lubricating coating was analyzed by EDS and scanning electron microscopy. The results show that the lubricating coating material keeps a low sliding friction coefficient (about 026) when it is paired with 2Cr13 disc or with Al2O3 ceramic disc under the temperature about 600 ℃.In the lower temperature range (from 300 ℃ to 600 ℃),the lubricating coating material paired with Al2O3 plate has a lower friction coefficient. While the temperature is more than 600 ℃,the lubricating coating material paired with 2Cr13 steel plate has a lower friction coefficient. In the test temperature range (from 300 ℃ to 700 ℃),the lubricating coating material paired with Al2O3 plate has a lower wear rate and better wear resistance. When the temperature is more than 500 ℃,the adhesion and oxidation wear mainly occurs between the lubricating layer material and the 2Cr13 steel plate, while the abrasive and adhesive wear mainly occurs between the lubricating layer material and the Al2O3 ceramic plate.
