    摘要:

    为研究天然理石切削过程中刀具切削力与切削质量变化特性,利用CVD金刚石薄膜涂层刀具和未涂层硬质合金刀具进行高效铣削实验。基于刀具-工件几何接触关系,推导铣削力数学模型,分析不同类型刀具切削力、工件表面粗糙度随切削参数和切削时间变化特性。研究表明:金刚石涂层刀具切削力明显小于未涂层硬质合金刀具,2种类型刀具的切削力随切削参数的变化特征基本相同;随着切削时间的增加,刀具切削力变化分为4个阶段:初始磨合阶段、稳定阶段、过渡阶段和刀具磨损加剧阶段。金刚石涂层刀具切削磨合期和稳定期持续时间为未涂层刀具的35倍,切削力和工件表面粗糙度变化比较平稳;未涂层刀具切削平稳期持续时间很短,切削力增长趋势明显,且在切削力增长后期工件表面粗糙度达到2.5 μm。

    Abstract:

    High efficiency milling experiment of natural marble using CVD diamond coated tool were carried out to study the characteristics of cutting force and quality during the cutting of natural marble.The mathematic model of principal cutting force was built based on the toolworkpiece contact geometry.The changing features of cutting force of different types of cutting tools and the surface roughness of natural marble with cutting parameters and time were analyzed.The results show that the cutting force of three directions of CVD diamond coated tools is much smaller than that of uncoated tools.The variation trend of cutting force with cutting parameters is basically identical for the two types of tools.The changing process of cutting force can be divided into four stages:initial grindingin stage,stabilization stage,transitory stage and intensification of tool wear stage.The runingin period and stable period of CVD diamond tool is 35 times that of uncoated tools,and the cutting force and the surface roughness of workpiece changed smoothly.However,there is a very short cutting stable period and a significant increasing trend on the cutting force of uncoated tool,during the last growth period of cutting force,the surface roughness is increased to 2.5 μm.
