Abstract:Preliminary research found that micro texture significantly inhibited the vibration of highspeed hybrid bearings.In order to study the mechanism of vibration suppression of micro texture,the effect of micro texture on the restriction coefficient was discussed.The CFD model of the restrictor of highspeed hybrid bearings under micro texturing was established by Fluent.The effect on coefficient of restrictor was studied considering different proportion of micro texture,pressure difference and spindle speed.The results show that the throttle coefficient of highspeed hybrid bearings is significantly reduced under the action of micro texture,which affects the flow field state and lubrication performance of bearings,and has a certain inhibitory effect on the vibration of bearings.Reasonable design of micro texture and pressure difference according to the requirements of bearing speed and bearing capacity,can reduce the bearing restriction coefficient and improve the capacity of bearing.Under the influence of micro texture,the restriction coefficient of the bearing changes as well as the flow field state.This shows that is necessary to determine the restriction coefficient according to the actual flow field during the performance calculation of highspeed hybrid bearings.
