Abstract:In order to study the influence of seal groove shape on the sealing performance of rubber sealing Oring,the rubber sealing Oring assembled in dovetail groove were modeled using finite element analysis software ANSYS,and its deformation and stress were analyzed and investigated under different compression rates and different medium pressures.The distribution of maximum Von Mises stress,maximum shear stress,and maximum contact pressure of the Oring combined with dovetail groove were obtained under corresponding conditions,and the results were compared with those of the Oring combined with rectangular groove.The results show that the maximum Von Mises stress and contact pressure of the Oring combined with dovetail groove are greater than those of the Oring combined with rectangular groove,especially at high medium pressure.It is shown that the sealing effect of Oring is better when combined with dovetail groove.
