Abstract:In order to improve the performance of polyurethane waterlubricated bearing materials, three groups of polyurethane composites were prepared by adding different contents of grease, defoamer and synthetic wax into polyurethane prepolymer. The tribological properties of different materials under different loads were tested by CBZ1 pinondisc tester. The worn surface topographies of the friction pairs against different polyurethane materials were observed by the laserinterference profilometer and a digital microscope. The results show that the addition of grease and defoamer improves the stability of polyurethane materials, and the addition of synthetic wax effectively improves the lubrication state of polyurethane materials under high pressure conditions.Under high pressure conditions, the tin bronze disc against pure polyurethane material has plough phenomenon after wear, which shows the characteristics of abrasive wear and accompanied by adhesive wear, while the polyurethane composite material with additives only shows adhesive wear occurs after wear.Lubricating grease, defoamer and synthetic wax can effectively improve the antiwear of polyurethane materials and reduce the wear loss of friction pairs, thus improving the safety and reliability of polyurethane materials as waterlubricated bearings.
