Abstract:The airbearing platform with singlerow restrictors was taken as the research object.Based on the mathematical model commonly used in current engineering,an improved scheme for dividing the guide rail into the main bearing area and the end bearing area was proposed,and the corresponding bearing capacity calculator was written.The finite element model of the guide rail was established to verify the end pressure field in the improved scheme,and the experiment was carried out to verify the loading capacity calculated by the improved scheme.The results show that the improved scheme can obtain more accurate film pressure and flow field conditions.The trend of the bearing capacity of airbearing platform calculated by the mathematical model of bearing capacity before and after improvement is consistent with that of the experimental data.However,compared with experimental results,the average deviation of the calculation results of the improved mathematical model is 133%,which is about 61% higher than the calculation accuracy of the mathematical model before improvement.Especially when the width of guide rail surface,the distance between throttle orifice and end orifice,and the distance between throttle orifice are quite different,the improved model can better guide the design of airbearing platform.
