The powders of graphite and crystalline layered sodium disilicate were characterized by XRD,FT IT and laser granularity analyzer. The combined system of graphite powder and crystalline layered sodium disilicate powder was designed by the uniform design method, and its antiwear and friction reducing properties were studied by four ball tester. The regression analysis was made on the experimental data by analysis software. The results show that the combined system of graphite and crystalline layered sodium disilicate can improve the antiwear and friction reducing properties of base grease, especially under high loading. The film with good antiwear and friction reducing performance is formed on the steel ball surface by the combined system due to the friction force. The alignment is easy to form during the sliding process of friction pairs due to the layered structure of sodium disilicate and graphite, the movement of friction pairs is transformed to the internal sliding of additives, and the friction resistant is reduced. The regression equation can well show the relationship of the addition of graphite and crystalline layered sodium disilicate on the combined system and the friction coefficients and wear scar diameters. The calculation results and experimental results have good consistency.
