In order to improve the technical safety and success rate of online sealing for injecting sealant in pipeline maintenance and repair,the safety injecting pressure of the pipeline with circumferential crack fault was analyzed by using the experimental method and ANSYS simulation method.Through the analysis and calculation,the influences of circumferential crack length,diameter and operation pressure on the maximum equivalent stress of faulty pipeline in the process of online sealing were researched.The results show that the maximum equivalent stress and safety injecting pressure of faulty pipeline are decreased with the increasing of the circumferential crack length.As the diameter increases,the injecting pressure is decreased firstly and then increased.The greater the pipeline operation pressure,the larger the leakage volume,and the higher the required injecting pressure.The analysis results of the established finite element analysis model are in good agreement with the experimental results and the model has high accuracy and reliability.
