Abstract:Surfacerestriction technology is one of the important techniques to improve static performance of aerostatic bearing.A new aerostatic bearing with radial grooves are designed,whose circumferential and radial sections are ellipseshaped and fanshaped respectively.The CFD model of aerostatic bearing of radial groove is established.The paper analyzed the influence of groove depth,groove radius,groove number,groove angle and supply pressure on the loading capacity and stiffness of aerostatic bearing.The results show that the loading capacity increases gradually with the increase of the groove depth,number,angle and supply pressure of the aerostatic bearing,and the groove number and gas supply pressure have a significant effect on the loading capacity of aerostatic bearing.The radius of aerostatic bearing increases,and the loading capacity of aerostatic bearing increases first and then decreases.The groove depth,number,angle,radius and gas supply pressure of aerostatic bearing are affect the stiffness of aerostatic bearing and gas film thickness value at the maximum stiffness.The groove radius,groove number and air supply pressure of aerostatic bearing have significant influence on stiffness.The groove angle and radius of the aerostatic bearing have a significant effect on the film thickness optimum gas.Therefore,the results show that the radial groove parameters have significant influence on the loading capacity and stiffness of the aerostatic bearing.
