The localization selection of open gear oil for ball mill in cement enterprises was studied.The domestic open gear oil products were preliminarily screened with the basic performance indexes and adhesion evaluation items of the oil as the screening basis,then the domestic gear oil,which can replace the imported gear oil,was selected according to the final selection standard whether a good oil film can be formed on the tooth surface in actual use.The results show that the oil that meets the adhesion evaluation indexes can be used on the open gear oil of small and mediumsized ball mills,but it still cannot meet the lubrication requirements of the open gears of large ball mills.In the selection of oil for large ball mill open gear,it is necessary to examine whether the oil can form a good oil film on the tooth surface in actual use.
