At present,the research on oil film characteristics of floating ring bearings is mainly based on the influence of eccentricity on oil film pressure and minimum oil film thickness,which fails to reflect the real oil film boundary movement.The motion of inner oil film boundary between floating ring and journal was realized by computational fluid dynamics.The fluid domain model of the inner oil film lubrication part between journal and floating ring was established to study the oil film characteristics of floating ring bearings with multi-phase rheological eccentricity.The results show that the simulation results considering variable eccentricity can better reflect the real lubrication characteristics of oil film.The maximum oil film pressure increases with the increase of rotational speed under constant eccentricity and variable eccentricity,while the minimum oil film thickness remains unchanged with the increase of rotational speed under constant eccentricity and decreases with the increase of rotational speed under variable eccentricity.The maximum oil film pressure and minimum oil film thickness change more obviously under the influence of variable eccentricity,which provides a favorable theoretical basis for the design of floating ring bearings.
