Abstract:Pin-disc friction testing rig is a standard friction testing equipment in the field of tribology.However,in the face of the friction process in the process of hot forming,the reciprocating friction in the pin-disc friction testing rig causes the rapid accumulation of debris in the track,which is not consistent with the actual conditions of hot forming.A new high temperature slip friction testing rig design scheme was proposed,which controls the die steel pin to slip on the sheet metal slide bar one-way long distance,in order to realize the simulation of the friction process of continuous hot forming.By analyzing the experimental results of the pin-disc friction testing rig and the high-temperature slip friction testing rig,it is found that the experimental process of the latter is closer to the actual conditions of hot forming,which is conducive to the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the friction and wear mechanism.
