低温U形金属密封环密封性能有限元分析

    摘要:

    为了研究U形金属密封环在不同工作条件下的密封性能,利用ABAQUS软件建立某U形金属密封环的二维轴对称模型,在静密封条件下计算分析U形密封环初始压缩量、工作压力及工作温度等操作参数对密封环最大Von Mises应力、接触压力大小及其分布以及接触宽度的影响。结果表明,在工作工况下,U形密封环上最大Von Mises应力小于材料屈服极限,最大接触压力满足密封要求,且在低温条件下适当增大工作压力可以提高其密封性能。根据计算结果,提出此U形密封环的极限工作条件,对该U形金属密封环的设计和使用有一定的指导意义。

    Abstract:

    In order to study the sealing performance of U shaped metal sealing ring in different working conditions,ABAQUS was utilized to establish the two dimensional axisymmetric model of the metal sealing U ring.Influences on the Von Mises stress,the size and distribution of the oil seal contact pressure and the contact width in the condition of static seal resulted from changes of operation parameters such as the initial amount of compression,working pressure and working temperature,were analyzed.The results show that in working condition,the maximal Von Mises stress is less than the yield limit and the maximal contact pressure satisfies the seal requirements,and 〖JP2〗the sealing performance can be improved by increasing working pressure appropriately in low temperature.According to the results,the limit working condition of the sealing ring was put forward,which has guiding significance on design and use of the U shaped metal sealing ring.
