Abstract:Fluorine rubber/metal composite board was prepared, which is composed of metal core board(stainless steel) and rubber coating(fluorine rubber), electrochemical method, such as AC impedance, polarization curve and liner scanning curve was used to demonstrate its corrosion resistance, and compressibility and recovery experiment was used to evaluate its sealing performance. The test result of electrochemical method shows that the prepared composite board has superior corrosion resistance, its corrosion current density is 1.318 μA/cm2, polarization resistance is 5.93×104 Ω, and charge transfer resistance is 1.389×104 Ω/cm2.The test results of compressibility and recovery experiment shows that the prepared composite board has superior sealing performance, its compressibility is 15.38%, recovery is 89.5%.
