With the increasingly strict control standards on sulfur content of fuel，the adaptability of the diesel oils used in a power station now to the lowsulfur diesel fuel became an important technical problems.An engine bench test was carried out by using two kinds of diesel oils used in a power station in order to assess the adaptability of the diesel oils to the lowsulfur diesel.The diesel engine performance was monitored and the engine oil was tested regularly during the bench test.The results show that lowsulfur diesel fuel has less influence on the engine performance,and the diesel oils used in a power station is compatible with the low sulfur diesel fuel.
