Abstract:By simulating the extreme conditions of severe damage of water lubrication film under dry friction condition,the friction and wear properties of three kinds of unmodified materials(PTFE,UHMWPE,PEEK) were studied under different speeds and loads.The results show that UHMWPE material has excellent wear resistance and good selflubricating property under dry friction condition,and the pressure has a greater influence on friction coefficient compared with the rotating speed.The friction coefficient of PTFE material is stable under dry friction condition,and is obviously related to pressure and speed,but it shows poor antiwear property.The friction coefficient of PEEK material is large,and is relatively easy to be affected by the change of speed and pressure,but it good antiwear property under dry friction condition.Through comprehensive analysis,it can be concluded that under extreme conditions,the adaptability of UHMWPE is the best,followed by PEEK and PTFE.
