Abstract:To investigate the reciprocating sealing performance of the Glydring,the finite element model of the Glydring sealing was established based on ANSYS Workbench,and the reciprocating dynamic analysis of the Glydring sealing was carried out.Effects of the compression ratio,the fluid pressures and the slip ring radius on the maximum contact pressure and the maximum Von Mises stress of the Glydring were analyzed.The numerical simulation results show that the contact pressure between the O-ring and the slip ring is greater than that between the O-ring and the cylinder at the same compression ratio.As the fluid pressure increases,the difference of the contact pressure between the slip ringpiston rod contact pairs and the other contact pairs becomes more obvious.When fillet radius of the slip ring at the air side is less than that at the fluid side,the difference of the pressure between the inner and the outer stroke is significantly greater than that when fillet radius at the air side is larger than that at the fluid side.Therefore,when the fillet radius at the air side is larger than that on the fluid side, the life of the Glydring can be prolonged.
