Abstract:Taking the spiral groove small orifice throttle hybrid gas bearing as the research object,the Reynolds equation was solved by the variational method,and the static characteristics of the bearing were simulated and analyzed by Fluent software.The influence of air supply pressure,eccentricity,rotating speed and orifice diameter,spiral groove width and depth on the static characteristics of the bearing was studied.The results show that under the same eccentricity,the static characteristics of the bearing are increased with the increase of the air supply pressure.Under the same air supply pressure,the larger the eccentricity,the higher the bearing capacity and the smaller the stiffness.The spiral groove can significantly improve the static characteristics of the bearing,and the greater the rotating speed,the better the dynamic pressure effect of the spiral groove on the bearing.When the other structural parameters remain unchanged,the static characteristics of the bearing are first increased and then decreased with the width of the spiral groove,and the smaller the depth of the spiral groove and the diameter of the orifice,the better.
